Welcome!
My eagerness for creating and problem solving has influenced my decision to obtain an undergraduate degree in graphic design at the American University of Science and Technology (AUST) in Beirut, Lebanon where I learned French
and Arabic. I then traveled to Milan, and studied Fashion Design and Italian at the Politecnico di Milan for a semester. After graduating, I returned on Italy to do my Masters in Fashion Management with an emphasis in Experiential
Retail and Multichannel Distribution / Branding and Innovation, at the Milano Fashion Institute (MFI). MFI is a consortium of Bocconi, Cattolica, and Politecnico di Milano — I found this program interesting because it joined
the forces of three elite universities and gave rise to a unique diverse curriculum. This multidisciplinary approach integrated design, management, and communication skills for a better understanding of fashion industry processes,
and was enforced by the assignment of two real case studies for local companies with global outreach. I rejoined AUST and attained an MBA in Business Marketing. During this tenure, I assisted in the Arts and Design Department
in classes, and in planning and coordinating workshops, which culminated in organizing and holding a fashion show on campus under the patronage of the Minister of Tourism, and which was attended by locally based international
designers. In 2015 I began my PhD in Design at the Politecnico di Milano researching the levels of innovation and integration of digital technologies in the fashion industry, more specifically how emerging technologies affected
fashion creative processes and organizational models. Monitoring the market shifts, observing new technologies adoption by other industries, and how emerging brands adopted these advancements. During this time, I assisted in
fashion design bachelor level classes, mainly group projects doing collection design development (moodboard to final looks). The groups consisted of FIT students from New York and Italian students so the cultural obstacles
were a challenge for some when it came to working together and miscommunication, it was insightful and I enjoyed resolviing issues and helping everyone find common ground. I had the honor to spend a year at Parsons Paris, deeply
involved in all events partaking to the Strategic Design Management Department, as well as the Fashion Design Department. While assisting in classes wonderful connections were made. Brilliant students and heightened creativity.
I have recently completed a masters course in Webdesign UX/UI at ComArt at 15 rue du Louvre focusing on coding in HTML and CSS, Omnichannel Marketing and user experience and user interface. Looking forward to my next chapter!
